Description

  • silvered bronze
finely cast seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, the right hand raised in vitarkamudra and the left arm supporting holding a vase, wearing long robes falling into voluminous folds, with uptala lotuses rising from the elbows to the shoulder, crowned with a peaked hat

Condition

There are minor dents and casting flaws across the surface. The tip of the monk's hat is bent and chipped. General rubbing to the patina, traces of gilt and lacquer.
