seated upright revealing it's large belly, its right hind leg raised, the head detailed with ferocious features and its mouth open revealing sharp fangs, the stone of a milky-white tone with black flecks

There are minor nibbling along the extremities, including the edges of the bear's mouth. Natural flaws to the stone particularly to the reverse, some with associated flakes. Possibly once fitted to a structure, with russet stains around the top opening. The stone of a slightly greyer tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
