the deep rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a flared rim, painted to the exterior with two pacing dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, all below a foliate scroll and above ruyi heads, the interior with a shou character medallion, all reserved on an egg-yolk yellow ground, the base with a six-character reign mark; together with three similarly decorated ‘dragon’ saucers

Condition

The bowl has an approx. 4cm firing line along the rim to the interior. The exterior rim has a 0.4x0.1cm area where the glaze is rubbed. There are other minor glaze firing imperfections. One saucer has two rim hairlines (measuring 1.5cm and 1cm). Another saucer has a 0.5cm hairline to the exterior rim, and a shallow nick near it. All three saucers have minor glaze firing imperfections.
