- jade, red coral and gilt metal
of flattened globular form, carved to both faces in low relief with an archaistic kui dragon, the stone of a white tone with snowflake inclusions, the coral stopper carved with a chilong
Condition
There is a 0.1x0.1 chip to the bottom edge of one face. The original ivory spoon missing , the cover with loss to the gilding and the finial may have been later restuck. The stone is of a slightly darker tone comapred to the catalogue illustration.
