the cover formed as two straight-sided inter-locking ingots, each centered with a pair of ruyi heads reserved on a wave ground scattered with peony flower heads within a key-fret band, the sides with floret diaper, the square-sided box similarly decorated, the interior and base lacquered black
Condition
There is a vertical split to the centre of each side of the cover. There is also splits to three corners of the cover, one of which has been repaired. There are some cracks to the interior of the cover. There are several chips and re-painting to the rim of the box and some cracking and scratches to the exterior base.
