Description

  • bronze
cast seated, the raised head with large round eyes beneath thick curled eyebrows, the mouth opened revealing sharp fangs, grasping the ends of a twist rope leading to the brocade ball under its right front paw, the body detailed with a combed mane and upright bushy tail

Condition

This censer is in good condition, but there is a fault/crack running from the middle of the head to the left ear. There is some rubbing to the patina to the nose and snout.
