the ovoid body surmounted by a tapered neck, painted to the exterior with eight boys engaged in various pursuits in a garden landscape with trees and pierced rocks, all below a band of pendent lappets, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle

Condition

There is a feint 2cm by 2cm by 2cm star crack to the exterior base, which cannot be seen to the interior of the vase. There is some losses to some areas of the yellow enamel and the green and black enamel below the rim. The iron red is not as bright as in the catalogue.
