Description
- porcelain and wood box and stand
elegantly modelled reclining with the right arm supported on the raised right knee and the left arm rested on an animal mask handled support, wearing long robes falling into voluminous folds and opening at the chest to reveal a beaded ruyi necklace, the face with a benevolent expression and gentled turned to the left, the neatly combed hair draped over by a hood, impressed to the reverse with a square seal reading Lin Xizong yin (Seal of Lin Xizong), wood stands and Japanese wood box

Condition
This finely modelled figure is in good condition with the exception of a shallow nick to the edge of the hooded cowl, a small area (1 x 1.5cm) of polishing / loss of glaze to the front edge of the robe, and a tiny area of loss of glaze to the big toe.
