Description

  • parcel gilt bronze
the rounded sides rising from a straight foot, engraved and parcel-gilt to the exterior with figures in a landscape with trees, bridges and pavilions, all between keyfret bands, the base lightly incised with an inscription denoting the weight

Condition

There is a dent to one side of the rim, which has put it slightly out of shape. There is a number of areas where the gilding has lifted, to the band of key-fret to the foot, to the clouds, and various areas to the landscape.
