Description

  • cloisonne enamel
comprising: a tripod censer, a circular box and cover, a vase, a spatula and a pair of gilt-bronze chopsticks, the three vessels each variously decorated with Arabic-inscribed roundels reserved on stylised lotus scrolls on a turquoise ground

Condition

To the censer there is a 2cm by 2.5cm area of restoration to the enamel to the right of one of the calligraphy cartouches and a 2cm by 1cm area of restoration to the enamel to one foot. To the vase there is a 1cm by 1cm area of restoration to the enamel to the foot to one side and a small area of restoration to each side of one handle.
