of square form, carved to the top with a horned mythical beast, the seal face reading Kong shi fengzhang (A ritual jade dedicated by Kong), the stone of a greyish-celadon tone with black inclusions
Provenance
An English Private Collection, formed in the 1950s.
Condition
There is a very small 2mm by 2mm chip to the corner of the base and another two similar sized chips next to this. There are other minor nicks to the base and there are numerous flaws running through the stone.
