of rectangular section, surmounted by a crouching bixie, the beast finely detailed with a single horn and bifurcated tail, the seal face with an inscription reading Xingyun liushui (Moving clouds and flowing water), the stone of white tone

An English Private Collection, formed in the 1950s.

Condition

This seal is in good condition, but there is a 2mm diameter chip/flaw to the upper surface of the base under the animal.
