the compressed globular body rising from a short straight foot to a short straight neck and everted rim, brightly painted in rich cobalt-blue tones around the exterior with an inscribed and dated rectangular plaque flanked by a pair of scaly dragons amidst fire and cloud scrolls, all between wave and chevron bands
Condition
There is a 6.5cm by 1.5cm restored chip to the rim above the head of the left dragon. There are some scratches to the glaze to the exterior and interior and some iron spots and burst bubbles to the interior.
