the cylindrical body supported on a spreading foot, surmounted by a waisted and ribbed neck with galleried rim, the body painted with figures in a mountainous riverside landscape with cottages and trees, the neck with a band of circles above a trellis band, all between chevron borders at the rim and the shoulder, the base with a leaf within a double-circle

Condition
There is an approx. 6.2cm vertical crack near the shoulder. The body has small glaze flakes (approx. 0.1x0.1cm) and numerous surface scratchings, some stained brown. The base has a C-shaped firing crack (approx. 0.7cm). Glaze firing imperfections such as iron spots, burst glaze bubbles and glaze pulls.
