  • porcelain
painted around the exterior with figures in a rocky landscape by riverbanks and a lone fisherman poling a sampan, the scene repeated around the neck, all separated by  line borders, the base inscribed with a double-circle in underglaze-blue

Condition

There is a 2cm by 1cm bruise with associated 7mm by 7mm shallow chip to the underside of the rim. There is a 10cm vertical crack running down the neck, but this is not detectable to the interior. There is a 2.5cm firing crack and some burst bubbles to the interior neck and rim and some minor scratches to the exterior.
