the straight sides with canted corners rising from a flat base to a flat shoulder and narrow tapering cylindrical neck, brightly enamelled around the exterior with a broad band enclosing parrots perched on trees, later wood cover; together with a bowl painted with European landscape scenes, and another smaller painted with a figure and deer in a landscape

Condition

The tea caddy in good general condition with the exception of a 31mm crack to base and fritting to the edges. Original cover lost. Please note this lot has a S. Marchant & Son label to the base. The larger bowl with a 67mm rim crack and small associated losses. Some flaking to enamels, and a 3mm glaze inclusion to the centre. The smaller bowl with a 21mm chip to foot ring, otherwise in good general condition.
