the globular lower bulb rising from a short straight foot to the upper ovoid bulb and short cylindrical neck, painted around the exterior with floral sprays within double-line and floral scroll bands
Condition
The form slightly warped and leaning to one side. The mouth reduced with two large chips (12mm and 11mm) and two smaller chips (6mm and 5mm), with two associated rim cracks. The first measuring 120mm with an associated star crack (30mm); the second measuring185mm with some associated shallow chips, and meeting a horizontal crack around the waist measuring approximately 185mm. Minor firing imperfections and surface wear elsewhere.
