the buffalo-headed deity and his consort Yami cast standing in alidhasana atop prostrate figures, birds and bovine animals, all on a lotus base, wearing a necklace of skulls, with beaded festoons around the body, his many arms radiating about him and holding various attributes, his wrathful faces surmounted by his flaming hair and secured by a tiara of skulls

Condition

Sealed and in very good general condition. Movement to the figure's front radiating arms. The consort fixed at the waist with slight movement to the upper body. Old 14mm bronze repair to the centre of the base. Some minor dents to the lotus base and possible losses to some of the attributes. Characteristic wear to gilding and pigments.
