the recumbent horse carved with its right foreleg raised, its head turned sharply to its left, detailed with a long jaw and neatly combed mane, a monkey clambering on its rear haunches, the stone of an attractive greenish-yellow tone with faint russet inclusions

Condition

In excellent general condition, with only a faint natural stone fissure to the horse's neck and face, as seen in the catalogue image. The stone of a more yellowish-green tone than as seen in the catalogue image.
