carved recumbent with its legs tucked underneath its scaly body, its lifted head detailed with a pair of horns, bulging eyes, flaring nostrils and long whiskers, the mouth issuing a stream of vapours supporting a bundle of books on its back, the stone of an even celadon tone with caramel-russet skin

Condition

In excellent general condition, with only very minor wear to the underside. The stone of a slightly greener tone than as seen in the catalogue image, with russet skin and opaque white inclusions.
