Le chiffre est celui de Louis-Philippe-Marie-Alexandre Berthier, troisième prince de Wagram (1836-1911), fils de Napoléon Berthier 2ème prince de Wagram et de Zénaïde Clary, petit-fils du maréchal Berthier, qui épousa en 1882 Berthe-Cécile-Claire von Rothschild, fille de Mayer Carl von Rothschild (branche de Naples) et de Louise von Rothschild (branche de Londres).
