Very rare. The Streeter copy. Harcourt sailed to Guiana in 1609 where he established a colony at the mouth of the River Wiapoco. This promotional tract "did much to hasten the advent of the idea of English colonization in America, if not in that particular area. Harcourt states that Guiana rivals New Spain and Peru in commercial potential, there being sugar, cotton, tobacco, indigo, and probably cochineal growing in Guiana" (Streeter). This first edition includes the Patent of Guiana, not included in the second edition.
