Catalogue Note

The expedition party travelled via Rio de Janeiro to the Cape of Good Hope. Further stopovers included various places in Mozambique and Madagascar. The criss-cross voyage continued by visiting the Seychelles, the river Congo, Gabon and Sierra Leone.
