Condition

Overall the condition of the ivory is good with some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is some rubbing to the high points leading to some losses of the paint. There is a small chip to the hair of the angel on the right. There is stable hairline splitting visible on the surface consistent with material. There are slots for hinges along the right edge and a hole for a lock on the left. The condition of the removable mount is excellent.
