Condition

Overall the condition of the terracotta is good with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. A wash has been applied to the surface. There is restoration to the quiver, which has been reattached, and there is some flaking to the reattached area. There are stable fissures, notably at the back of the necks of the putti and in the seated putto's drapery. In areas there is a yellowish colour to the patina, in particular around the necks. There is a hole to the underside with some stable fissures.
