Condition

Overall the condition of the brass is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The lock mechanism functions and the key is present. Three of the feet are a little loose. Four of the screws are lost, it is possible some of the others could be replaced. There is oil to the surface, especially to the interior. The hinge straps to the interior have lifted a little. There is minor greening to the interior and some white residue. There are some scratches to the interior. There could potentially be some past restoration to the mechanism.
