Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The left section of the figure's shirt is carved separately and may be reattached. The lower left corner is lost. There is some staining to the marble at the top and on the right side, which may suggest it has been outside. The surface is a little dry. There is cement to the reverse. There is flaking to the paint on the frame, and minor splitting to the wood consistent with material. The joints of the frame are slightly open.
