the arc en arbelette upper structure centered by a foliate-cast bracket and flanked by two small drawers on each side, above a central frieze drawer between two banks each fitted with five drawers

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places. Loss to veneer to arched top. The center part of the arched top shows filled holes, which implies that a bronze ceramic plaque is now lacking. To its proper right side apron a bronze molding is missing.
