Catalogue Note

A FINE COPY of the last edition of Paradise Lost supervised by Milton and including his final revisions. The second edition, which divides the poem into twelve parts rather than the ten used for the 1667 edition, also includes Marvel's poem 'On Paradise Lost' which extols the "Poet blind, yet bold".
