i) dust-jacket illustration for Alfred Hitchcock Presents Stories for Late at Night, Random House, 1961, ink and watercolour drawing, 320 by 240mm., mounted; ii) dust-jacket illustration for Sara Woods, The Windy Side of the Law, Harper and Row, 1965, ink and watercolour drawing, 213 by 140mm., mounted; iii) approximately 25 preliminary drawings of or relating to Paddington Bear (many for Paddington Bear [Paddington Picture Book 1], Collins, 1972), mostly preliminary pencil drawings, mounted; iv) approximately 195 preliminary and finished portrait drawings of Dickens, Shakespeare, Chaucer, Zola, Wilde, Steinbeck, Woolf, Austen etc. and approximately 18 dining scenes (mostly for ed.
