8vo (192 x 120mm.), 3 volumes, FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, later issue, with “New edition” on title-page and 16-page publisher’s catalogue dated 1 November 1860 at end of volume 3, publisher’s violet bead-grained cloth, Bone & Son binder’s ticket on rear pastedown volume 1, original yellow endpapers, blue morocco-backed folding box by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, spines slightly faded, bumped at head and foot, corners bumped, some wear to edges
