[1902], first trade edition (leaf endpapers and ‘wept big tears’ on page 51), 31 coloured illustrations, some adhesive tape repairs and residue, some loss to first illustration, recased, lower hinge repaired, ownership inscription dated 1903, chip to upper cover; ii) The Tale of Peter Rabbit. [1903], sixth issue (double-page pictorial endpapers and ‘shed big tears’ on page 45), 27 coloured illustrations, minor splitting at joints; iii) The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies. 1909, first edition, 27 coloured illustrations, ownership signature, spine faded; iv) The Tale of Mrs Tittlemouse. 1910, first edition, 27 coloured illustrations, slight wear to extremities, minor spotting to edges; all 16mo, original boards with pictorial labels on upper covers (4)
