POEMS: 'She, Dead (The betrothed)', 29 lines; 'Waterlilies', 10 lines; 'The Daisy Chain', 19 lines; 'Some Shes', 28 lines, fair copies in a fine calligraphic hand, in pencil, each written on the recto of a loose leaf, 4 pages, 8vo, c.1923, filed together with photocopies, printed ephemera and computer print-out notes by Fiona Woodcock on the poems
LETTERS: Three autograph letters signed ("Daddy", "EG") to his youngest daughter, Joanna (or Joan), together with an autograph letter signed to the Registrar affirming his approval of her marriage to René Hague, one letter with two pen and ink sketches, four pages, 8vo, 14 January 1928 to 12 December 1936, where dated, one letter mounted, framed, and glazed (not examined out of frame); also one autograph letter signed to his mother, announcing the birth of Elizabeth, his first child, one page, oblong 8vo, 1 June 1905; repairs to one letter
