Catalogue Note
Twice-Told Tales, Hawthorne's second book, is the first to bear his name on the title page. According to BAL the second work, printed and bound in December 1851, was probably published simultaneously with the 1851 London edition. It was the final collection of the author's short stories published in his lifetime.
