Browne(without page references), without half-title, original slate fine-diaper cloth (primary binding), covers stamped in blind with borders, spine lettered in gilt, ownership signature ("J.J. Wood") on title page dated 1876, preserved in slipcase, plates darkened, cloth slightly torn at head and base of the spine, further wear to edges and bumping to corners
