John George Edward Henry Douglas Sutherland Campbell, ninth Duke of Argyll (1845-1914), known as Marquess of Lorne, was a Governor General of Canada from 1878 to 1883. He married Queen Victoria’s fourth daughter, Princess Louise, in 1871 and was Governor and Constable of Windsor Castle from 1892 to 1914. Humphrey Napier Sturt, the second Baron Alington (1859-1919) was a Conservative MP and Peer.
