Condition
Not examined out of the frame. There appears to be some dirt across the paint surface however overall the work appears to be in very good condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals three small vertical lines of florescence in the red pigment of the background. These do not appear to indicate retouching.
The picture is presented in an ornate carved and gilded frame.
