There are some very minor horizontal lines which run across the composition. These appear to be consistent with the grain of the wooden panel. There is also some minor frame abrasion at the extreme edges of the work and on very close examination it is possible to see some paint separation in the single rose petal the lower left corner of the composition. There is some surface dirt across the picture. Subject to the above the work appears to be in very good condition. Ultra violet light reveals some small areas of florescence which appear to be consistent with surface dirt. The work is presented in an ornate gilt frame.
