Provenance

Volume 3: Presentation copy from one of the authors, Josef Havlíček, to Dr Karl Hrubý, inscription on title-page, with the latter's library stamp, stating that Havlíček has included a couple of photos of the finished VPU building, in place of the unattractive advertisement (presumably on the missing pages)

Catalogue Note

Teige's journal of contemporary architecture looked at international architecture (compiled by Teige), Czechoslovak architecture (authored by Teige) and individual buildings (by Josef Havlíček and Karel Honzík) in respective issues.
