Condition
The painting is overall in a relatively good state of preservation.
It has been relined a bit too strongly about fifty years ago. This operation has flatten the painted surface.
The painting is under a dirty varnish.
Under UV lamp:
Under a green uniform varnish.
We can see the restoration of an old tear at the right in the inscription (about ten centimeters long). This operation has been properly done.
