Description
- White Cedar (Melia azedarach)
each with a hard seat secured to a pair of round vertical back posts flanking a central curved back splat with four long spindles of square section, each with one rounded side and joined to a horiztonal yoke with protruding ends, all above a humpback apron with pairs of vertical struts on all four sides, further secured by curved braces connecting from the front apron to the inner front legs and foot rest, the three other sides with single stretchers, the legs of circular section squared off on the interior, the surface with traces of red lacquer
Condition
the pair of chairs are in good condition. There is a patch repair to one of the wood seat panels and expected wear overall. Both chairs with traces of lacquer.
