Condition

This work is in excellent condition overall. The canvas is unlined. Under close inspection, there is evidence of light wear to the turning edges and corners. Framed in a Plexiglas box.

"Many of Warhol's late projects were commissions to glamorize manufactured products. As in the old days when art directors had told him what images to draw, he now painted whatever the clients asked for, whether it be Scadinavian vodka, French mineral water, or West German automobiles. Some critics thought his career had gone full circle, beginning with and returning to advertising art. But Warhol brazenly disagreed: 'I was always a commerical artist.'"
