The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is lighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a few specks of splash accretion to the upper left hand corner. Further inspection reveals small patches of discolouration throughout that is associated to the movable magnetic elements. There is evidence of light wear to some of the magnetic elements, notably to the top left corner tip of the magnet towards the bottom centre left and a minute crease to the bottom of the adjacent magnet. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
