Catalogue Note

"In our pictures we try to provide some delicate new way of seeing an aspect of life, what a person is or is not. The message transfers itself to the viewer and he or she then has some information... We want everybody to be free to have their own ideas but at the same time tolerant towards each other." Gilbert & George
