Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling to the sides and edges of the canvas, which appears inherent to the artist's working method. There are large pieces of oil stick adhered to the surface of the canvas, all of which are stable. The canvas shows signs of overall creasing and undulation, which is inherent to the artist's working method. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.

Catalogue Note

"I think that painting relates very neatly to inner travel and the exploration of inner worlds. With painting, I always get the impression that you're sort of entering into a shared space. There's everyone who's painted in the past, and everyone who is painting in the present." Joe Bradley
