Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The edges are wrapped in a fabric. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edges and scattered hairline craquelure at the pull margins leading to localized areas of paint loss along the edges of each canvas. On the right canvas, there is an area of flaking paint along the right edge, and there are scattered light hairline cracks that have been stabilized. On the left canvas, there is a 10 inch wide area of concentric cracking. There are several large cracks extending upwards from the bottom of the canvas diagonally to the upper left. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
