Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling at the edges. Under close inspection, the figure of the black man in the center towards the bottom has a slightly mottled appearance. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are scattered spots thoughout the work that fluoresce darker than others, but it is consistent with the texture of the paint layer, so it does not appear to be the result of restoration. There is evidence of varnish. Framed.
