Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The edges show evidence of light wear and handling. There are some scattered accretions along the canvas. The canvas itself shows some light surface abrasions, most notably, a white scratch along the left side extending from the middle to the bottom edge of the painting. The weave of the canvas is visible throughout, which is inherent to the artist's working method. A faint horizontal impression from the stretcher bar is visible under close inspection in the center of the canvas. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
