Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges. The striations and mottling visible in the purple painted area are inherent to the artist's staining technique and is visible in the catalogue illustration. At the bottom right of the canvas there is a drip accretion extending 5 inches, visible under close inspection. There is also a white accretion at the upper right side. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
