Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The paper, which is visible at the bottom right corner, appears to have yellowed slightly with age. There is evidence of light wear and handling to the edges, resulting in very minor and unobtrusive paint loss at one spot at the top center and at the top right corner. There is a very minor accretion at the upper right. There are artist pinholes in the corners. Framed.

Catalogue Note
"The painting is not on a surface, but on a plane which is imagined. It moves in a mind. It is not there physically at all. It is an illusion, a piece of magic, so that what you see is not what you see." - Philip Guston
